Enter your license key and set your lock duration by right clicking the taskbar tray icon. Once active, the timer can't be bypassed without uninstalling — which requires admin access.
- Generate a long, random password
- Create a new email (ProtonMail recommended)
- Email the password to yourself with a delay (use Gmail + Boomerang, or LetterToMyFuture)
- Log out and only use the Standard User
- Reboot → Enter BIOS (F2, Del, etc.)
- Set a Supervisor or Admin password
- Send that to your future self, too
- This blocks USB boot, safe mode, or OS reinstall
- Install Family Link for Parents on a second device
- Create a parent Gmail with a random password
- Send that password to your future self
Use Family Link to:
- Block browsers, YouTube, access to Settings
- Disable app installs and Chrome exceptions
- Install Fully Kiosk Browser
- Lock the device to selected apps only via universal launcher
- Disable status bar, home, and recents and enable kiosk mode.
Samsung Knox allows full enterprise lockdown (disable safe mode, factory reset, etc). DM me on Discord if you need help configuring it.
Install a screen-monitoring app like Bulldog blocker (really good app) to detect and blank out NSFW images anywhere on screen, even in apps.
Settings → Screen Time → Use Screen Time Passcode. Choose something you won’t remember or give it to someone you trust.
Settings → Screen Time → Content Restrictions → Web Content → Limit Adult Content. You can also block Safari or YouTube entirely.
Disable app installation/deletion and block specific apps under "Allowed Apps".
Set a strict Downtime schedule and restrict apps to a bare minimum.
Open your PS4 (warranty sticker covers the screws), locate the Wi-Fi chip, and unplug the antenna cable. This disables all internet connectivity.
Change DNS settings to 127.0.0.1 or use OpenDNS family filters to block online content via router.
Enable Sony's built-in parental controls and set a passcode to restrict browser use and app changes.
